SORORITIES
Each of the seven chapters that make up our Panhellenic community are composed of incredible women who are dedicated to enhancing our community. This list provides you a general description of each chapter, and for more information follow the link to their respective website!

ALPHA DELTA PI
ΑΔΠ
Alpha Delta Pi holds the distinction for being the first society founded for college women. Our motto is first, finest, forever, which describes the diamond, which is our sorority symbol. ADPis are bright, fun, and classy young women who are committed to sisterhood, strong values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility. We work every year to raise money for our philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Corporations, through many exciting fundraising events in which the entire community can participate in. Here at the University of Miami’s Alpha Delta Pi, we live for each other!

CHI OMEGA
ΧΩ
Since its founding in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, Chi Omega has devoted itself to six core values: friendship, high standards of personnel, career development, scholarship, campus activities, and community service. Our symbols are the skull and crossbones and the owl, and our flower is the white carnation. As the largest sorority in the nation, we have a strong network of alumni and active sisters all over the globe. We have proudly supported the Make-A-Wish foundation as our national philanthropy since 2002. Our chapter alone has raised over $80,000 for Make-A-Wish South Florida since 2013, and we are able to witness the results of our hard work by hosting wish reveals! Sisters of Chi Omega are leaders on and off campus, and as our chapter continues to grow, so do our philanthropic efforts, campus involvement, and unity

DELTA DELTA DELTA
ΔΔΔ
Tri Delta is a premier women’s organization created in 1888. Founded on the principle of “being kind alike to all,” Tri Delta prides itself on women that live, learn, and lead in a kind fashion. Tri Delta’s colors are silver, gold, and blue; our main symbols are the pearl, the pine, and the pansy. Poseidon is the patron Greek divinity of the organization, and the dolphin is another one of our symbols. Tri Delta’s philanthropy is children’s cancer charities. In 1999, the organization partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and since then we have raised over $20 million for the kids being treated there.

DELTA PHI EPSILON
ΔΦΕ
Delta Phi Epsilon is centered around our founding principles justice, sisterhood, and love. We are proud to support and raise awareness for our three different philanthropies: the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, and Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders. Our colors are royal purple and pure gold, and our mascot is the unicorn. We uphold our values each day and treasure our sisterhood.

PI BETA PHI
ΠΒΦ
The FL Eta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi was founded at the University of Miami in 2021. The chapter has supports the Fraternity's national philanthropy, Read>Lead>Achieve, which inspires children to develop a lifelong love of reading that can unlock true potential, creating a more literate and productive society. Some symbols of Pi Beta Phi include the arrow, an unofficial angel mascot, and the wine carnation flower, while the colors are wine and silver blue. Our core values focus on integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service to others, and sincere friendship.

SIGMA DELTA TAU
ΣΔΤ
Sigma Delta Tau is a national sorority committed to Empowering Women through scholarship, service, sisterhood and leadership. Started by seven incredibly unique and resilient women at Cornell University in 1917, SDT is proud to have more than 60,000 sisters who are bound by similar ideals, yet are each amazingly unique and talented. At the University of Miami, SDT supports various philanthropies including The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Prevent Child Abuse America, and Wendy Walk. Last year, we were given the great honor of being named Diamond Chapter by Nationals. Our symbol is the Teddy Bear and our flower is the Yellow Tea Rose.

ZETA TAU ALPHA
ΖΤΑ
Sisterhood, love and friendship. These are the words that come to mind when our members think of Zeta Tau Alpha. Although the ZTA experience begins in college, it extends far beyond four years. The ZTA experience is made up of many parts. Sisters are connected to a large network of over 235,000 women, which provides countless opportunities. The bonds of friendship that are formed in both collegiate and alumnae chapters last a lifetime. Women develop leadership skills by taking on responsibility both within ZTA and in their communities. The Fraternity and ZTA Foundation support members’ growth through educational programming and opportunities to serve others and promote breast cancer education and awareness. Members of ZTA are encouraged to follow their passion, and their sisters are there to support those goals.
